VC4000 Support
Please check the VC4000 manual first as it may answer your question.
Each VC4000PC/DAQ/RFM comes with a Profile disc. On that disc is another program called "Reflash". Use Reflash to update your VC4000 to the latest version of firmware. See VC4000 manual for instructions.

form for email support. It also helps to send us the .RUN files if you
have a question relating to data obtained from a VC4000PC or VC4000DAQ.

VC4000 latest firmware binary file
(you must install VC4000ReflashSetup to use these files)
* Firmware versions 1.50 and higher must use the new version of VC4000Reflash, see below. Firmware versions 1.50 and higher are only compatible with Profile 5.1.0 and higher.
Note: Always update Profile when updating firmware. See Profile_Support.
Brake Meter Note: VC4000 Brake Meters will need the USB driver VC4000.inf to update the firmware via a USB port. PC's, DAQ's and RFM's have this file on the Profile CD.
- Download the VC4000.inf file to a temporary folder
- Plug in the VC4000 to the USB port and install the USB drivers using this .inf file when windows hardware wizard needs it
- Download and install the VC4000Reflash utility found below
- Download the correct .bin (binary) file above
- Run the Reflash utility (Start/Programs/Vericom Computers/VC4000 Reflash)
- On step 2 of the Reflash utility use the binary file from step 4 above

For the Reflash utility, .NET 3.5 or above is required. Most systems already have it installed if automatic updates are turned on. Windows Vista and 7 already has it installed
