Contact us for support by mail or phone.  Our preferred method for support is Email since we may have to research the problem.  Fill out a support form for email support.  It also helps to send us the .RUN files if you have a question relating to data obtained from a VC4000PC or VC4000DAQ.

*** Firmware versions 1.50 and higher are only compatible with Profile 5.1.0 and higher. ***

The Reflash utility requires .NET 3.5 or above. Most systems already have it installed if automatic updates are turned on. Windows Vista and 7 already has it installed.

Note: Always update Profile when updating firmware.  See Profile_Support.
Note: Firmware versions 1.48 and later use calibration check reference of 1.000 instead of 2.000.

Brake Meter Note: VC4000 Brake Meters will need the USB driver VC4000.inf to update the firmware via a USB port.  PC's, DAQ's and RFM's have this file on the Profile CD.

1. Download the VC4000.inf file to a temporary folder
2. Plug in the VC4000 to the USB port and install the USB drivers using this .inf file when windows hardware wizard needs it
3. Download and install the VC4000Reflash utility found above
4. Run the Reflash utility (Start/Programs/Vericom Computers/VC4000 Reflash) and follow the prompts
